Time Capsule
Exactly 10 years ago I created a time capsule containing my current feelings & life forecast, plus my favorite candy bar (symphony--still my favorite) & candy (swedish fish--currently replaced by chewy spree/mike & ike).
I opened it Jan. 1st with my parents & captured a few clips...
"You're awesome. You rock my world!" Blah...we can do so much better now! My ability to woo women with words has greatly matured, yet have discovered women want works...not just words--blah!
No worries, with the 'my millenium to marry deadline' we got til December 31, 2999!

Iowa 80!
A break at the biggest truck stop on earth proved educational with a library, museum, modern displays, dining, theatres--and my favorite after 2-3 days without one...showers!
Location: Walcott, Iowa. I-80 Exit 284.

The border walk...
Upon discovering 'River Walk' road near the CREngland Terminal, I was excited to explore its destination.
So I did & discovered (after a few detours) 'El Rio Grande' under one of the main transport bridges between the US & Mexico, a sound sleeping pelican (I came within 5'!), a bunch of beer cans/bottles (drink & litter responsibly!), and (surprise) a cautious & concerned border patrol officer--'Be Careful'.
Careful (according to my standards) I was & we arrived safely back to camp in a Freightliner Classic XL next to dozens of other trucks waiting for trailers.
