From Portland, a few feet above sea level, to Wyoming, about 7000 above sea level, a few thousand feet (at similar latidudes) make quite a difference.

Driving in Wyoming in the winter is scary stuff!! Zac did it last year and it made me SO nervous. Good luck with all the driving.
